Who publishes this site
aethervane.online is published by Bacidia s.r.o., a company registered in the Czech Republic under company number 06990789, with its registered office at K Žižkovu 809/7, Vysočany, 190 00 Praha 9. The contact person for the site is Sandra Rodriguez. Full company details are in the Legal Notice.
We publish plain-language guides to video games for people who have not played them yet — what a game actually is, what it costs, and whether it is worth an evening of your time. No hype, no invented statistics, and no pretending a page is journalism when it is an advertisement.
Independence
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any game publisher we write about, including Gaijin Entertainment, the developer and publisher of War Thunder. No publisher reviews our pages before they go up, and no publisher has any right of approval over what we say.
How the site is paid for
Two ways, both disclosed:
- Affiliate commission. Links marked partner link earn us a commission if you register or buy through them. You pay nothing extra.
- Paid traffic. We advertise our pages through paid advertising channels, including Microsoft Advertising. If you arrived from an advertisement, that is why.
Every page carrying a partner link says so at the top, not only in the footer.
Editorial policy
- Commission does not buy coverage. A commercial relationship is never a reason to leave out something unflattering — the cost of a game, its age rating, or the fact that paying speeds up progress.
- Numbers get checked or they get hedged. If we cannot verify a figure against a public source we either leave it out or say plainly that it changes between updates.
- Illustrations are our own. Every image on this site was drawn for us. We do not use publishers' screenshots, artwork or logos, and we caption our illustrations so nobody mistakes them for game footage.
- No fake reviews, no fake people. We do not publish invented testimonials, invented reader stories, fabricated ratings or countdown timers that reset. Anything presented as a fact is one.
- Corrections are published, not buried. Tell us about an error and we fix the page and update its review date.
- Pages are dated. Every guide shows when it was published and when it was last reviewed, so you can judge how stale it is.
Corrections and complaints
Write to info@aethervane.online or call +420 605 605 243. Tell us which page and what is wrong. We reply within five working days and we tell you what we did about it. That address is also the right place for data protection requests, rights complaints and reports of unlawful content.
